We did comprehensive master planning with a people movement study, and a space usage study. This resulted in a strong understanding of how to proceed with an addition. Several concepts for an addition were studied and the design respected future growth potential. The addition uses the existing well field for geothermal heating and cooling. A new shop and a large 32’ wide shop door allows for a house to be built inside the shop and buses to be stored in the shop. Welding booths and a paint room were added on. A band room, classrooms and a commons area was also added on. The project was completed with the estimates and ahead of schedule with a mere 1/2% of change orders. The contractor was Quest Construction.
