Brad Ciavarella
Architect and Design
Brad Ciavarella and his firm specializes in providing architectural services for both residential and commercial projects, with an emphasis on effective construction management, energy efficiency, window replacement, adaptive reuse, historic preservation and environmental design. Brad Ciavarella is an architect and an artist who frequently blends artistic solutions into building design. Considered an expert in historic preservation and functional use of space, Brad has designed numerous residential, commercial, and municipal projects around the state. Brad was also the design Architect for the Presidential Trail at Mount Rushmore and a remodel of the South Dakota State Capitol Building. Brad also owns a beautiful historic home that he and his wife have restored and placed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Lisa Jorgenson
Intern Architect
Fargo, North Dakota native Lisa Jorgenson, a graduate of Fargo South High School and North Dakota State University, has joined Ciavarella Design as an Intern Architect. At North Dakota State University, Lisa received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Environmental Design and Master of Architecture. Lisa will provide design services for commercial and residential projects.

Robert Arlt
Intern Architect
Robert grew up in his formative years along the Mississippi River in Bemidji, MN and Hastings, MN. It was there an initial interest in history, architecture and their myths/stories started to develop. Robert has completed an Associate Arts degree at Bemidji State University with emphasis on art history and studio art while working construction in summer. After, he studied Italian Architecture both ancient and modern and also painting in Florence, Italy. Robert recently graduated with a Masters in Architecture with honors from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND after completing a Bachelor’s in Environmental Design the year prior. While working for Ciavarella Design, he is finishing a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts with emphasis in sculpture and multi-media installation.

Carl Koppelman
Architectural Drafter
Originally from Breckenridge, MN, Carl moved to Mitchell from Albert Lea, MN with his fiance Kalli, a Mechanical Engineer, and her son Alex.
He enjoys spending time with family and friends, working on classic cars and going to car shows, camping and the outdoors, and DIY projects.
Carl joined Ciavarella Design on a permanent basis Jan. 2, 2012.
